Yup, that's the title. That's 64 words - or 361 characters. I'm not joking, it truly exists. And yes, it's a Japanese game, of course it is!

Anyway, if you've read the About CNames article (which, if you're here, you probably should), you know that we generate cnames from names in order to provide an easy-to-use identifier for the objects in the database. And, well, a 70-word name isn't going to generate an easy, intuitive cname.

Which brings us to...

The Important Part

If an object, be it a game, a person, company, franchise or otherwise, has a really long-ass name, it's bound to have a nickname that everyone uses instead of chanting the whole name - use that instead as the object's name, and add the full, official name as an Alternative Name, if the object supports alternative names, or just write it in the description or notes section.

Using the mentioned game as example, it would be better to add it as Natsuiro High School: Seishun Hakusho, since that's how it's mostly referred to in western media.

As for how long is too long, that's a bit subjective, but let's say that any name with more than 8 words or 50 characters is too long. This is a baseline, not a hard limit.
